• Use less of the words pathos and ethos and replace them with the actual way the company appeals to the audience. You could use creates an idea of happiness instead of pathos
ReplyDelete• Maybe add something about how the popular people that promote the pizza ad to Ian’s ethos.
• I like your thesis statement because it is a good overview of the argument that you make
I liked your introduction, I thought it drew the listeners in. I think that you use the words pathos and ethos a lot, so maybe explain the reasons, not just use the words. The last thing I would suggest is to separate your body paragraph into clear sections and make sure you have transitions in between all of them!
ReplyDeleteI like how you can relate Mesa pizza to Ian's pizza because it very relatable for most people. One thing I would maybe do in your introduction is shorten the details and get to the point, and then later in the body paragraph, describe it more into detail. For the body, I would make sure that it is clear when one point is stated, and when you're going to start the next. Make sure there are at least 3 different main ideas. Otherwise, I think your speech is very well put together.
